She called to load for Wellington, Wanganui and New Plymouth, and sailed later for Lyttelton. The Holmglen is expected from the south to-day. She will load for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Waikato and should get away for Lyttelton this evening. The Waimarino also is due from Dunedin to-day to lift Picton, Wellington and Auckland shipments before proceeding to Lyttelton. The Opihi is another arrival listed for to-day. After taking Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth cargo she is to sail for Lyttelton. The Holmdale, on the Wellington, Picton and Wanganui run, is scheduled to call at Timaru from Oamaru on Thursday. lonic Leaves Cristobal The Shaw. Savill, and Albion liner lonic is reported to have cleared Cristobal, en route from London and Southampton to Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on November 14. Gabriella to Arrive The Union Company advises that the Gabriella was due at Dunedin on Sunday from Newcastle and Sydney, via New Plymouth. She was to sail yesterday afternoon for Lyttelton, Akaroa, and Wellington. Trans-Tasman Cargo Service During the summer months the Maheno will replace the Waitaki in the cargo service between Melbourne, Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington. The Waitaki is to leave Melbourne on Wednesday for those ports, and is due on November 6. From Wellington she will proceed to Auckland and will probably enter the Auckland East Coast-Dunedin service. The Maheno will leave Port Chalmers today for Hobart and Melbourne via Bluff with passengers and cargo. Maui Pomare’s Return The Government motor ship Maui Pomare was due back at Lyttelton from the Islands yesterday. She will be at Wellington to-day, and will sail the following Tuesday again for Niue and Apia. Personal The Kaimiro recommissioned at Wellington on Friday in command of Captain E. R. Lowe, who has associated with him the following officers: — First, Mr P. E. Ryan; second, Mr J. H. Ibbotson, third, Mr V. Miller; first engineer, Mr H. McDougall; second engineer, Mr H.
