WHERE ELECTRIC POWER IS GENERATED.— Two of the giant generators and the turbine operating plant, which will supply power from the Waitaki hydro-electric works to consumers in Canterbury and Otago. The nearer generator was the one set in motion by the Governor-General (Lord Bledisloe) at the official inauguration ceremony on Saturday afternoon.
