OBITUARY

Mr Robert Harrison, who died recently at Ashburton, was a brother of Messrs J. H. and H. Harrison, of Temuka. Born at Orari, he was educated in that district, coming to Temuka with his parents as a young man. He saw active service in the Boer War and after his return took up work at Ashburton, where he had resided ever since. Twenty-six years ago he married Miss fe. M. Clayton, of Ashburton, who survives him; also a family of three sons and two daughters. He was an active member of the Druids Lodge and the Ashburton Pipe Band, to which he belonged for many years.
