THEFT CHARGES

A PLEA OF GUILTY By Telegraph —Press Association WELLINGTON. October 26. A number of burglaries in the Hutt Valley, some cf considerable magnitude, were cleared up in the Petone Court to-day, when Leslie George Parminter (33), engineer and carpenter, pleaded guilty to three charges of breaking entering and theft, and two of theft, and two of being in possession of unregistered firearms. The total value of the property was £292. The place entered included the Self Help Co.-op. at Trentham, and the dwelling of Emil Arthur Rodgers, at Haywards, from which goods end material to the value of nearly £77 were taken and the shop of Stills and Deans, Lower Hutt. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
