EXCITING CHASE IN THE AIR British Official Wireless (Received October 26, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, October 25. A balloon belonging to the Royal Air Force Flying School at Larkhill, while taking part in divisional manoeuvres on Salisbury Plain, broke from its mooring cable in a violent gust of wind and drifted 80 miles before the pilot, a staff officer on board, brought it safely to earth. Meanwhile it had been chased by an auto-giro and motor cars.
