ANOTHER AMAZING DEVELOPMENT United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received October 25, 7.0 p.m.) LONDON, October 25. “The Daily Telegraph” publishes sections of a news film wirelessed from Melbourne, showing C. W. A. Scott talking to Miss Jean Batten, and later falling asleep on his feet, swaying with fatigue. The Aim will be screened in London, and then shown at 1500 cinemas throughout England. The film, costing £IOOO a foot, will be preceded by a talkie film of the Lord Mayor or Melbourne welcoming the airmen. The film was made by means of a microphone at Melbourne and the oceanic telephone. Flight-Captain Vuruly, a well-known airman, writing in “The Daily Telegraph,” pays a glowing tribute to British sportsmanship in assisting the Dutch airmen, particularly the unknown Australians who gathered in motor-cars at Albury, despite terrible weather, in the dead of night. “Thanks to you,” added the distinguished airman, “we walk the streets to-day with smiling faces. Here’s to world-comradeship and to the Australians.”
