PIONEER OUTDOOR CLUB The Pioneer Outdoor Miniature Rifle Club has its 50 yards range in working order, and the 100 yards range will be completed next week. A friendly shoot took place on the 50 yards range for test purposes and resulted (two sighters and eight counters)— President’s team—D. Parson 72, J. W. Maloney 72, G. A. McLean 67, E. Power 70; 281. Secretary’s team—R. S. Gribben 75, C. H. Rudge 65. C. Matthews 70, G. Honeyman 68; 278.
A strong easterly wind was blowing, which gave members the first chance of observing the difference between shooting on indoor and outdoor ranges.
