UGLY SITUATION IN MEXICO United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received October 25, 11.10 pjn.) MEXICO CITY, October 25. General Plutarco Calles, a former President, talking to Deputies and Senators who visited his home tonight, said that Mexican Catholics are preparing a subversive movement, which will rapidly bring about a crisis, “which the Government will know how to meet.”
General Calles said he was in favour of the expulsion of archbishops and bishops from the country.
