Mcllroy Cup for the best team score at the final shoot. Last year the Pleasant Valley Club’s “A” team and the Temuka Club’s “A” team tied with 388, and in the previous year Winchester and Pleasant Valley tied with 380 points. H. Morrison Cup The Winchester Ladies’ "A” team (Miss L. Priddle 79, Mrs Donnithorne 78, Miss J. Deßenzy 77, Mrs W. Waple 73, Mrs W. Priddle 73), with 380 points, won the H. Morrison Cup, awarded to the ladies’ club firing the highest score at the final shoot. The Orari Bridge Ladies’ “B” team (Miss J. McLean 77, Miss O. Ford 77, Miss T. Rule 75, Mrs Pratt 74, Mrs Wordsworth 73), were the runners-up with 376 points, and the Orari Ladies’ “B” team were third with 373 points. TIMARU The annual match between the Willowbridge and Timaru Miniature Rifle Clubs took place on Saturday evening, when Willowbridge brought up a team of 10 men with a view to regaining possession of the Thomas Shovel Shield taken from them last year.
