An examination of the body of Carmelo Mentisano revealed 73 wounds, which were inflicted with a long, heavy filleting knife. Concetta Ciaquinta was remanded on a charge of murder. Mentisano was found dying, and the womaVi, who lived with her husband in the same house as Mentisano, was arrested and charged with wilful murder.
