ANNUAL CONFERENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, August 1. The annual conference of the Plunket Society was held to-day, the Governor-General opening it with a speech eulogising the work. Their Excellencies were welcomed by the Dominion President, Mrs McGeorge. Addresses were delivered by Sir Truby King and the Minister of Health, who stated that the Government had decided to ask Parliament to vote £20,490 for the Society’s work.
