The Storm is due from Dunedin today to load for Wellington, Picton, Wanganui and New Plymouth. It is expected that the Totara will be here to-day from Dunedin to load general cargo for Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth and Westport. - The Port Whangarei is scheduled to arrive to-night from the south to load for Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarei. Tairoa Due To-night The Shaw Savill steamer Tairoa is expected to reach Timaru to-night from Bluff to load frozen meat, dairy produce and general cargo for the Homeland and the Continent, She should sail on Monday night for Wellington. The Port Dunedin The C. and D. Line motor ship Port Dunedin is to leave Liverpool on September 1, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Nelson. Port Hobart From New York The Port Hobart is to sail from New York on Monday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. New Marine Flag The question of the new Canadian marine flag which has been under consideration for some time by the Senate Banking and Commerce Committee in connection with the Canadian Shipping Bill, has become one which Parliament must decide, and legislation has been framed to that end. If Parliament approves it is hoped that an amendment suggested will result in the replacing by a maple leaf of the Canadian shield which at present forms a portion of the marine ensign.
