PLANS TO CRUISE IN EXPLORER’S TRACKS United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright LONDON. July 23. The Australian journalist-traveller, Mr Alan Villiers. is planning to circumnavigate the globe, following the tracks of Captain Cook’s first voyage. He sails from Plymouth in October in the Joseph Conrad, and hopes to reach Australia in April. He said that he had been overwhelmed with applications to join him, especially from girls. “It seems that women under 20 are more adventurous than boys. I have had letters from women aged from 13 to 73.”
