HEAT WAVE SWEEPS U.S.A. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 24, 9.50 p.m.) CHICAGO, July 24. The heat wave spread throughout the United States on Monday, bringing the total deaths for five days to 507. Temperatures in the mid-west are reported to be above 100 degrees, with a maximum of 112 degrees.
