With a view to obtaining a visit from an Australian team next year, it was decided at a meeting of the Council of the NeW Zealand Football Association to-d»y to enter Into negotiations with the Australian governing body. It was agreed that New Zealand should offer one-third of the net profits. A letter was received from the Wanganui Association asking if it would be possible to play the North Island final in the Chatham Cup contest there. The Council decided to offer Wanganui 50 per cent, of the net profits if it would guarantee £3O toward the payment of rail fares. A late entry from the Greymouth Club for the Chatham Cup was refused.
