SCHOOL CERTIFICATE
A DUNEDIN PROTEST. By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, June 26. Dissatisfaction with the new school certificate examination was expressed by the Chamber of Commerce, which passed a resolution that the standard was unnecessarily high to meet the requirements of the commercial community in selecting junior and other assistants, who are unlikely to carry on their studies to the University, and there was need for a practical examination of a lower standard.
