Miss Heather Baden-Powell, -who is 18, is the elder daughter of Lord BadenPowell, Chief Scout, and Lady BadenPowell of Pax Hill, Bentley, Hampshire. Mr George Lenox-Boyd is the son of Mr and Mrs Alan Lennox-Boyd. of Broadley House, Sway, Hampshire. The engagement was announced on March 20. The reason for the postponement of the marriage was understood to be the health of Mr George Lennox-Boyd’s parents, and the fact that he himself had hardly recovered from the effects of a motor-car accident which occurred more than a year ago. It is understood that he is on sick leave from his regiment, the Highland Light Infantry, until June, and that the marriage was postponed until after his return to it.
