VIOLENT SCENES FOLLOW
RIVAL SECTIONS ENGAGE IN FIGHT. # United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph —Copyrigh t (Received May 24, 12.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 23. There was a violent scene when a mob of Lang's supporters rushed the narrow staircase leading to the platform. They were met by a crowd of Mr Scullin’s friends on the platform. Fists flew in all directions. Three youths were felled. The police intervened and quelled the disturbance.
