PLANS TO ASSIST MISS BATTEN. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received May 21, 9.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 21. Arrangements have been made to send an aeroplane to Darwin to meet Miss Batten, and escort her over the dangerous flying country of Northern Australia to Brisbane.
