WAR DEBTS
STATEMENT BY CHANCELLOR. British Official Wireless (Received May 16, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, May 16. Answering various Parliamentary questions the Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr Neville Chamberlain) stated that the question of war debts was receiving the Government's close attention, but he was not in a position at present to make any statement on the subject.
