ATTITUDE OF FARMERS’ UNION. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, May 2. The Dominion Executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union discussed the question of the importation of livestock from Great Britain, and decided to investigate the whole position for consideration at the next annual conference. In the meantime the meeting reaffirmed the stand taken by the Union in opposing the lifting of the embargo.
