WELLINGTON COMMITTEE’S EFFORTS. By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, April 9. During the year ended March 31 the Wellington boy employment committee placed 1269 boys—763 in permanent positions, 323 in temporary positions, and 183 in the country. Of the placements only 139 came from school, while 1130 were unemployed. There is great difficulty in placing boys of 18 to 20. and their plight represents one of the tragic features of the present situation.
