PAINTER’S TRAGIC DEATH By Telegraph—Press Association INVERCARGILL, April 8. A tragedy occurred this evening, when Frederick Longman, 58, a painter, married, residing at Waikiwi, slipped and fell head first down a well on his property. The well contained three feet of water, and when Longman was extricated a few minutes later by his son and a neighbour, he was dead. The well was five feet deep and two feet in diameter.
