Provan) and the secretary (Mr A. Rippen). The club’s handicapper (Mr A. Ball), and the custodian of the baths (Mr A. Hooke) were deserving of thanks, while thanks were due also to Mr K. Moffatt for his services as life-saving instructor. The support he had received from the committee was acknowledged by Mr Elder, while members showed their appreciation of the committee by giving three hearty cheers. Community singing and individual items contributed to the success of the evening’s enjoyment. Instrumental and vocal numbers were given by Miss Jean Wilson, and Messrs D. I. Parsons and L. Andrews.
