Special passenger train for Christchurch leaves Timaru 7.50 a.m., Washdyke 8.1, Temuka 8.19, Orari 8.37, Rangitata 8.50, Hinds 9.11, Ashburton 9.42, arriving Christchurch 11.15 a.m. Between Timaru and Ashburton stops where required to pick up or set down passengers. After leaving Ashburton stops at Rakaia, Dunsandel, Rolleston, Hornby, Sockbum (2nd April only) and Addington to set down passengers from Ashburton and South thereof. Return special passenger train leaves Christchurch 6.15 p.m., Ashburton 8.5, Hinds 8.29,, Rangitata 8.51, Orari 9.3, Temuka 9.19, arriving Timaru 9.46 p.m. Stops at Addington, Sockbum (2nd April only), Hornby, Rolleston, Dunsandel and Rakaia to pick up passengers for stations Ashburton to Timaru. After leaving Ashburton stops where required to pick up or set down passengers. Return fares to Christchurch—March 31 from Timaru 24/2, 16/3, Temuka 21/8, 14/7; Orari 19/10, 13/3. April 2 from Timaru 25/5, 17/3; Temuka 22/11, 15/7; Orari 21/1, 14/3. All available for return for thrte calendar months. The fares on 2nd April are via Riccarton Racecourse and include 9d admission to Course. FAIRLIE-BRANCH: On 2nd April the usual 4.44 p.m. Timaru-Fairlie train will leave Washdyke 4.54 p.m., Pleasant Point 5.18, Albury 6.1, arriving Fairlie 6.29 p.m. WEDNESDAY, 4th APRIL.
