SERIOUS ACTIVITIES DISCLOSED United Press Association —By Electrle Telegraph—Copyright BUCHAREST, March 23. Professor Victor Gomiu, the noted surgeon, has been arrested on a charge of plotting against the life of King Carol and of overthrowing the Regime. Seventeen prominent intellectuals are involved. The police were endeavouring to establish a link between them and the Iron Guard, a member of which is now on trial for the assassination of Dr. Duca on December 29.
