REASON FOR STIMULATED SEARCH United Press Association—By Electric T elegraph—Copyright LONDON, March 23. It is understood that the British Government’s announcement that it was considering measures to stimulate the search lor oil in Britain, is due to inquiries by foreign interests concerning the possibility of obtaining oil in commercial quantities in the Midlands.
