MR BERNARD SHAW

NO VISIT TO CHRISTCHURCH. By Telegrapft—Press Association AUCKLAND, March 18. Mr and Mrs Bernard Shaw plan to leave Auckland on Tuesday on a motor tour of the tourist resorts. Mr Shaw met a number of labour officials and was the guest of the Fabian Club yesterday. Both functions were private Mr and Mrs Shaw will go to Waitomo Caves on Tuesday, and next day proceed to Rotorua, staying over a week. Then they will leave for Wellington, via Wairakei, the Chateau and Wanganui. After several days at Wellington they may cross to Picton and Nelson, returning by the same route to Wellington for a few days before joining the Rangitane for England on April 13. Limited time will not permit Mr Shaw to visit Christchurch and other southern places. He will probably broadcast before leaving Wellington.
