NTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at * ’ a Special Meeting of the Geraldine County Council held on the Fourth day of December, 1933, a Special Resolution was passed declaring that Sections 121 and 131 of “The Counties Act 1920” shall not apply to the Council. The effect of the Resolution is that general rates will be levied on the County as a whole, and not on each Riding separately, and the practice of keeping separate accounts for each Riding shall cease after confirmation of the Resolution. The Special Resolution referred to will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held on Monday the twenty-se-cond day of January, 1934, at 11 a.m. at the Council Chambers in Geraldine. A copy of the proposed Special Order is deposited at the County Offices at Geraldine and TemUka, and is open to the inspection of the Public during office hours until the twenty-second day of.
