PALMFR DEFEATS STANTON. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright (Received December 21, 147 a.m.) SYDNEY. December 20. At the Leichhardt stadium to-night, in a twelve round bout. Ambrose Palmer (12.3) outclassed the Canadian Aliek Stanton U 3.74) in a heavy contest. The Canadian was down in the second round. He took severe punishment to the fourth round, when Palmer gained the decision on a technical knock-out.
