PANIC AMONG OCCUPANTS. By Telegraph—Press .Association STRATFORD. December 14. A bull from a mob driven along the street, charged through an open gate i of Mr M E. Sharrock s residence, giving Mrs Sharrock and three young children a severe fright for a time. When the bull followed their hasty retreat from room to room, they were in considerate danger. Mrs Sharrock shewed presence of mind, lowering the children through a window. The children, two. three and four years of age. scrambled from the back door in a panic when the bull appeared almost at their heels, and rushed to their mother, who was working in the kitchen. The animal halted a moment in the doorway, giving Mrs Sharrock time to hurry the children into one of the , front rooms. The bull followed, snorting and stamping, and the frightened occupants retreated Into another room, from which there was no egress Mrs Sharrock turned to the open window and lifted the children to the ground and then climbed out herself. The animal, possibly more bewildered I than savage, submitted to the drover who managed to take his charge safely out of doors Meanwhile the shaken family had j taken refuge with a neighbour
