JEWISH REFUGEES
AN ACUTE PROBLEM FOR EUROPE I.AUSANNE, December 8. The Refugees Commission deplored that Europe Is saturated with Jewish refugees from Germany, and favoured outlets to America and North and South Africa. Lord Cecil emphasised that Palestine was full. He was sure the Dominions though Britain could not speak therefor, would help to the utmost in the problem. Others pointed out that many additional refugee., must be expected. M Berenger said that France had admitted 30,000 refugees, upon whom it had spent £96 465,000. It had found posts for 40 professors and placed 4000 lir businesses. Lord Cecil said 142 professors were placed In England besides 250 refugi e from France.
