PREPARATIONS FOR MELBOURNE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, December 8. Mr Linton announced that the Imperial Airways and the French Dutch Air Lines each would probably fly services to Australia for the centenary celebrations, besides the flights oi Mr Scott. It is likely that the Overseas League in conjunction with the British National Union, will send a delegation and other Empire societies are favourably considering delegations. Exhibitions of Australian exports synchronously will be held at Australia House. It is hoped that all exporters will exhibit. The centenary publicity campaigr will begin forthwith. Shipping companies are advertising extensively.
