TRICK OF SWINDLER
SECURES 1,000,000 FRANC PRIZE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, December 5. A swindler, presenting a counterfeit ticket, duplicating the winning number, secured a 1,000,000 franc prize in the national lottery. The authorities later paid the genuine ticket holder another 1,000,000 francs.
