The Riga correspondent ol “The Times” states that the discovery of anti-Govemment plotting has led to increased purging of the army and the Communist Party, the latter losing one-fifth of its members already by expulsion. The authorities admit that the Separatist Movement in Ukraine has not been crushed and that a long, bitter etruggle is ahead. Peasant unrest is widespread despite wholesale arrests.
