PREFERRED BY GOVERNMENT OF NEWFOUNDLAND. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 30, 7.0 p.m.) ST. JOHN'S, November 29. The Legislative Council of Newfoundland to-night unanimously passed a resolution from the Lower Chamber approving of the Royal Commission's recommendation for the relinquishing of the rights of a Dominion, and submitting to Government by Commission, until the Island was again self-supporting. A message will be despatched to His Majesty the King, asking that the Amulree recommendations be implemented, and it is understood the United Kingdom Parliament will adjust the Island’s financial difficulties without delay.
