ANNUAL MEETING OF TIMARU GROUP. The second annual meeting of the Timaru group of Toe. H was presided over by Mr E. D. Fleming. The chairman referred briefly to the progress made during the year, especially mentioning the work of Messrs P. W. Ruston, E. C. Segar and J. Shelton. The secretary, Mr R. W. Watson, presented the annual report, which reviewed the year’s work in detail. The membership had increased to 21 and several had signed up as intending members. Reports were also presented by the treasurer. Mr E. C. Segar, and the jobmaster, Mr S. Shears. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Chairman. Mr J. B. Hamilton; secretary, Mr D. J. Beswick; treasurer, Mr E. C. Segar; jobmaster, Mr S. Shears; members of executive, Messrs P. W. Ruston and R. W. Watson. Arrangements were made for an end of year function on December 19. It was stated that the report of a sub-committee set up to consider improvements to the rooms would be considered at the first executive meeting.
