PLEASANT POINT SALE SMALL ENTRIES. Owing to the heavy rainfall, entries at yesterday's sale at Pleasant Point were greatly reduced and the attendance of farmers was the smallest for some time. The festivities in Christchurch also affected the attendance at the market. Prices were:—Fat cows £3/10/- to £7; fat heifers to £5/15/-; bulls to £2/17/6; empty cows to £2; 18month heifers to £2/2/6. Fat sheep.—Best shorn wethers 21/to 22/6; light wethers to 16/11; fat ewes in the wool 24/- to 25/6; medium wethers in the wool to 26/-. Shorn fat ewes 19/- and 19/6.
