The afternoon train for Timaru leaves Ashburton 5.25 p.m., Orari 6.54, Temuka 7.16, arriving Timaru 7.51 p.m. CHRISTCHURCH SHOW & RACES, 4th to 11th NOVEMBER, 1933. SPECIAL TICKETS TO CHRISTCHURCH via Racecourse will be issued by train leaving Timaru 7.50 am. on Saturday, 4th Wednesday, Bth, and Saturday, 11th November, available for return for three calendar saenthi Fares (including 9d admission to Racecourse) from Timaru 25/5 first class, 17/3 second class; Temuka 22/11 and 15/7 and corresponding fares from other stations. SPECIAL CHEAP DAY EXCUR- [ SION TICKETS to CHRISTCHURCH, via Racecourse, will be issued by the 730 a.m. Timaru-Christchurch train on Wednesday, Bth November, from Ashburton-Tlmaru and intermediate stations, available for return on day of Issue only. Fares (Including 9d admission to Racecourse) from Timaru 16/9 first class, 11/6 second class; Temuka 15/3 and 10/6 and correspondingly reduced fares from other stations. NOTE: The usual “Mid-Week" tickets will also be issued to Christchurch on this day by the above train. SPECIAL CHEAP DAY EXCURSION TICKETS TO CHRISTCHURCH will be issued by train leaving Timaru at 7.50 a.m. on Friday. 10th November, from Ashburton-Tlmaru and intermediate stations, available for return on day of issue only. Fares from Tlmaru 15/6 first class, 10/6 second class; Temuka 14/- and 9/6 and correspondingly reduced fares from other stations. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS, 4th to 11th NOVEMBER, 1933. On 4th, 7th, Bth, 9th, 10th and 11th November passenger train for Christchurch leaves Timaru 7.50 a.m., Temuka 8.19, Orari 8.37. arriving Christchurch 11.15 a.m. Return train leaves Christchurch 6.15 p.m., Ashburton 8.5, arriving Timaru 9.46 pm. These trains will observe the same stops as the Ti-maru-Christchurch Wednesday trains and on 4th, Bth and 11th November will also stop at Sockburn and on flth and 10th November at Addington Show Grounds. On 4th, Bth and 11th November cars containing Racecourse passengers will be run direct to Racecourse. On 4th, 7th, 9th, 10th and 11th November, the usual 7.35 a.m. TimaruAshburton and 4.31 p.m. AshburtonTlmaru trains will NOT run. On Bth November the usual 4.15 p.m. Christchurch - Timaru (Wednesday) train leaves Christchurch at 6.15 p.m. On Friday, 10th November, passenger train for Timaru leaves Christchurch 11.0 p.m., Ashburton 12.39 a.m. (11th), arriving Timaru 1.55 a.m. (11th).
