MID-CANTERBURY TOURNEY. Two Timaru teams w’ho competed in the Mid-Canterbury golf championships on the Ashburton Club’s links, were successful in the teams' match and morning medal match, which were decided r conjunction with the championships. H. H. Harris (Timaru). with an aggregate of 158. was eighth, thirteenth, and M. T. Houlihan (Tiand L. G. Cameron* (Timaru), 163, was maru), 174, was twenty-fourth. In the junior title A. I. Marshall (Timaru), 171, and G. Hedges (Timaru), were seventh and eighth respectively A. I Marshall (Timaru) won the afternoon medal match. 80—14- 66. H. H. Harris being second in the morning medal match, 77—9—68 The teams' match was won by Timaru No. 1 team. M T. Houlihan 81. A. I. Marshall 66, H. H Harr. 73. and L. G. Cameron 73; total—293, with Timaru No. 2 team. R. S. Sinclair 75. D S. Mullan 73. G. Hedges 69, E. Dodd 78, total—29s, second.
