EXCELLENT DEMAND AT BRISBANE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received October 23, 11.30 pan.) BRISBANE. October 23. At the wool sales to-day, there was an excellent general demand from the Continent, Japan and Yorkshire. Prices showed a rise from par to 5 per cent. Deeply grown, robust wools showed the greatest appreciation. Greasy merino made 2nd per lb.
