tobacco manufacturers CANCEL COSTLY SCHEME. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received October 23, 11.0 p.m.) LONDON, October 22. The "Dally Express" says that all branches of the tobacco trade have agreed, that the coupon gift system, which has cost the manufacturers £16.000,000 since 1929 schemes, will end on December 31, and thence forward, no new coupons will be issued, though collectors of coupons will b» allowed a few months to apply for gifts.
