POLICE THEORY OF DOUBLE MURDER. By Telegraph -Pres* Association HUNTLY, October 20. Detectives and police e -■aged on the Runwaro mystery are now working on a sensational theory that Mr and Mrs Samuel Pender Lakey were both murdered. Clues picked up during the past two days have completely dispelled any suggestion that Mrs Christobel Lakey died from natural causes and the first theory that, after indlng his wife dead in the duck pond, Mr Lakey went away and shot himself has also been abandoned. Several exhibits to which are attached the gr. -test importance have been sent to Auckland. Part of the ide o a shed, slats of .rood and a cart wheel found in a paddock some distance away from the house are to be tested for'blood.
