The rapidly deepening impression made in the United States by Mr Frank Milner, rector of the Waitaki Boys’ High School, during his recent visit there, was described by his fellow Rotarian, Mr T. C. C. Davies and A. T. Clark, surveyors, of Hastings. The council did not discuss the matter, the chairman, Mr r B. Logan, stating that it was for the ratepayers concerned to petition the council.
