ORGANISED GANG AT WORK. By Telegraph —Press Association j WAIHI, October 17. j The series of bulk thefts of tobacco [ from grocers and other business premises as well as the railway goods which has taken place during the last two or three months, was, after a lapse of about a month, continued last night when entry was forced to a baker's and general store and also a tobacconist’s shop at Waiklno, near Waihi. It is thought that the work is that of an organised gang. Goods other than tobacco have been stolen, but tobacco has attracted most of the attention of the thieves.
