Sir Oswald Mosley, England’s MussoHitler, marching at the head of 400 Fascists, was attacked at Manchester by sixty Labourites, who hurled stones, injuring three of the “Dictator's” bodyguard. The Fascists broke their ranks and charged their assailants, until recalled by a bugle call. Sir Oswald Mosley then proceeded to King’s Hall, where 2500 Fascists, brought by tram and motor bus from all parts of England were stationed to over-awe interrupters Bands played Italian Fascist airs, and the audience gave the Fascist salute as Sir Oswald Mosley entered, mounted the platform, and stood in the glare of the powerful spotlights. He declared: “The Reds frequently attacked our men with razors, bludgeons. and every despicable weapon imported from the ghettos of Europe.”
