PILGRIMAGE TO ROME
UNEMPLOYED TO MEET POPE United Press Association—By Klee trio Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 24. A remarkable pilgrimage of 400 unemployed, drawn from all parts of Britain, is going to Rome to-morrow, accompanied by Father Martlndale and 20 other priests. The spokesmen hope for great results from an audience with the Pope, based on the idea that unemployment is a moral as well as a material problem.
