MORALLY WRONG PRINCIPLE.

CANADIAN CRITICISM OF AGREEMENT. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright SASKATOON, August 26. In a statement regarding the wheat quota, Mr Frank Eliason, secretary of the United Farmers of Canada, said: “Any attempt to reduce production to the world’s present low standard of living is fundamentally and morally unsound. If those attending the World Conference would confine themselves to setting up planned economy and arranging distribution, so as to place sufficient purchasing power in the hands of the people, thus making for a decent standard of living, there would be no need for a quota.”
