TREASURY REQUIREMENTS OVERSUBSCRIBED.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received August 27, 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, August 25. The applications for tenders for treasury bills totalled £75,415,000. The amount allotted, in bills, at three months was £45.000,000. The average rate per cent of tenders accepted was 7/1.64d, as compared with- 6/I.oßd last week.
