DISCUSSION AT BANFF CONFERENCE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received August 25, 7.10 p.m.) BANFF, August 24. Educationalists at the Round Table meeting of the Pacific Relations Institute on Thursday, discussed the modern trends in education, in all forms in various Pacific countries. They devoted part of the discussion to proposals to be laid before the Council, as a recommendation for the next programme In 1935. Among the chief topics chosen for discussion were national education systems and the trends, dangers and policies of cultural contracts, mutual understanding among Pacific peoples.
